As a gay Christian, this pains me. How people can misread God’s word to harm others is sad. To any fellow gays or lesbians, Jesus loves you. Don’t EVER let ANYONE tell you differently.
Yes, we get it. A lot of christians like to copy and paste bits from the bible and forget that Jesus was awesome. At this point that’s like saying the sun will rise tomorrow morning. I personally am gay and not all that religious but fuck me if Jesus wasn’t one of the greatest people who ever lived.
I’m pretty sure he did, but I think a lot surrounding him is just legend, like his miracles and being son of God. A better explanation is that Mary wasn’t really a virgin and since that was like the worst thing for an unmarried woman to be and was punishable by stoning to death, she lied and said God impregnated her. But I’m pretty sure Jesus was a person in history who lived. One of the best persons in history who lived.
